Very friendly service from start to finish. I needed a certain part of my divorce decree translated and they went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the final result. Also, I forgot to mention that they delivered way earlier than I expected. I highly recommend them :)))

What is a certified affidavit translation?
A certified affidavit translation is a complete, word-for-word translation of a sworn statement, delivered with a signed certificate of translation in which the translator confirms that the translation is complete and accurate and that they are competent in both languages. The statement, the oath or affirmation clause, the jurat, and every signature and seal are translated or noted where they appear, so the receiving court or agency reads the whole document.
The phrase "affidavit translation" can refer to two different requests:
- An affidavit of translation: the translator's own statement that a translation is accurate, sworn or affirmed before a notary public. A notarized certificate is not always the same thing, because the notary may only confirm the signature, so tell us whether your recipient needs the translator to swear to the statement.
- Translating an affidavit: someone swore a statement in one language, and a court, agency or consulate needs it in another. Examples include evidence for an affidavit of support, a birth affidavit, an affidavit of single status, a witness affidavit.
Certified affidavit translation starts at $45 per page for orders of 1–5 pages, with the certificate of translation included and notarization available at $15 per page.
Certified, notarized, sworn or apostilled: which one does your recipient need?
The court, agency or consulate that receives the translation decides which form it accepts, so check its instructions before you order.
| Option | What it adds | Usually asked for by | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Certified translation | A signed certificate of translation stating that the translation is complete and accurate and that the translator is competent in both languages | U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS); courts and agencies according to their own filing instructions | Included with every translation |
| Notarized translation | A notary public confirms the signer's identity and notarizes the signature; with a jurat, the signer also swears or affirms the statement. The notary does not check the translation | Some courts, banks, schools and foreign consulates | $15 per page; $5 per additional certificate |
| Sworn translation | A translator sworn or appointed by a court or ministry of the destination country | Authorities in countries with a sworn-translator system, such as Spain and Germany | Quoted per order |
| Apostille | Authenticates the notary's signature and seal for use in a country that is party to the Hague Apostille Convention; it does not certify the translation | Foreign authorities in Hague Convention countries | $100 for the first certificate; $10 for each additional one |
What stays in the translation, and what the certificate states
Every part of the affidavit carries over into the translation in its original order:
- the deponent's statement, word for word, with names, dates and places as written;
- the original oath or affirmation clause and the jurat, translated faithfully, without adding or replacing any legal statement;
- signatures, seals, stamps and the notary's commission details, noted where they appear on the page;
- handwritten additions, with any word that cannot be read flagged in brackets and checked with you rather than filled in.
The certificate of translation identifies the document and the language pair, states that the translation is complete and accurate, confirms the translator's competence in both languages, and carries the signature and date. A sample certificate of translation is available in the samples section below.
How much does translation cost?
Vital documents are priced per page; other documents are priced per word. For orders of 16+ pages or the equivalent word count, rates start at $25 per page or $0.10 per word.

Which affidavits do we translate?
We translate affidavits and sworn declarations, including typed statements and handwritten document translation, and offer digital & physical copy delivery to suit your filing.
We also translate adoption-related affidavits and the supporting records covered by our adoption documents translation services when they are part of the same filing.
Types of Affidavits We Translate
- Immigration: evidence filed with an affidavit of support (the Form I-864 itself is filed in English), affidavits of relationship, and asylum declarations, with dates, names and the first-person account kept intact
- Personal status: birth affidavits used where no birth record exists, affidavits of single status before a marriage abroad, name change and "one and the same person" affidavits, and affidavits of identity or of lost documents
- Family: custody, guardianship and adoption consent affidavits
- Estate and property: affidavits of heirship, property ownership and residence
- Court and business: witness affidavits and statements, affidavits of service, corporate officer affidavits and financial affidavits
Affidavits are often filed with supporting records, and we translate those in the same order, including birth certificates, marriage certificates, passports, court orders, diplomas, bank statements and tax records, with every name spelled the same way across the set.

Business Translation Solutions for Corporate Affidavit Documents
Corporate affidavits, such as officer affidavits, affidavits of service and sworn financial statements, depend on exact oath wording and exact figures, so both are translated line for line.
Our translation agency treats every business document with the care and attention it deserves. We keep comprehensive non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in place to protect your sensitive company information throughout the entire process.
For urgent corporate filings, our same-day certified translation service helps businesses meet tight submission deadlines without compromising document integrity.
Oath and affirmation wording differs between legal systems. We translate the original wording faithfully, keeping the document's structure and introducing no new oath or legal statement.
Every business affidavit goes through our four-stage quality review (translate, edit, proofread, quality assurance) before delivery, and is prepared for filing to the instructions you provide.
Government Services Affidavit Translation for Official Proceedings
Federal, state and municipal agencies may review a translated affidavit against the original, so every date, name and seal has to carry over. We prepare government affidavit translations for filings at each of those levels.
Whether you're working with federal correspondence, need help with a state document, or are handling a municipal document, we know how important precision is. Our translators carefully maintain formatting & layout retention and glossary & terminology consistency so your paperwork looks exactly right.
When affidavits are submitted alongside birth certificates, marriage records, or other official paperwork, vital document translation helps maintain consistency across all supporting documents.
Tell us which agency will receive the affidavit, and we follow its published translation instructions; the agency decides on acceptance.
Affidavit translation for USCIS, immigration court and embassies
USCIS requires every foreign-language document, affidavits included, to come with a full English translation and the translator's certification that it is complete and accurate and that they are competent to translate, under Title 8 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), section 103.2(b)(3). USCIS does not require that certification to be notarized.
We prepare USCIS certified translation for naturalization, green card and family petitions, including the foreign-language evidence behind an affidavit of support and affidavits of relationship. A single point of contact handles your order from upload to delivery.
Immigration courts follow their own rule. The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) Policy Manual requires a typed, signed translator certification attached to the foreign-language document. It must state that the translator is competent and that the translation is true and accurate, include the translator's address and telephone number, and list the documents if one certification covers several. Tell us when a translation is for immigration court, and we prepare the certificate in that form.
Using a U.S. affidavit abroad works differently. Many consulates accept a certified translation, some countries accept only a translator sworn or appointed by their own courts or ministries, and others ask for an apostille on the notarized certificate. Check the consulate's instructions first, and we prepare the translation to match.
Our visa translation service covers the civil documents that usually travel with an affidavit, and the receiving officer decides on acceptance.
Comprehensive Language Services for Multilingual Affidavits
We handle affidavit translations in 100+ languages, making it easy for legal professionals and individuals to get the help they need.
Whether you're dealing with Burmese, Chinese, Spanish, Dari, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Urdu, Japanese, Vietnamese, Hindi, or Turkish documents, we're here to help.
Each affidavit is assigned to a native speaker of the target language with experience in legal documents, and a second linguist reviews it before delivery.
Specialized Legal Services for Court-Ready Affidavit Translation
For litigation, we translate sworn statements and their exhibits as one connected set, keeping exhibit labels, page references and names consistent across every translated document.
We also provide divorce certificate translation services for the civil records that are often filed with a sworn statement.

How do I prepare an affidavit for translation?
Send a clear scan or phone photo of every page, including any reverse side with text, signatures, stamps or seals, and the notary block, and tell us where the translation will be filed.
- Every page and attachment: include any exhibits the affidavit refers to, so they can be reviewed and quoted together with it.
- The receiving body: USCIS, an immigration court, a state court or a named consulate, so the certificate, notarization or apostille matches what it asks for.
- Name spellings: the spellings used on passports or earlier filings, so names stay consistent with your other documents where the original allows, and any difference in the original is flagged.
- Your deadline: standard delivery is 1–8 business days for up to 10 pages, depending on the language, and rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours is available.
You receive the translation electronically. Printed copies are available by mail for $25 per order, with standard shipping included.
